Host/Hostess

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBLE TO: LIFEgroup Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. May host the group in your home, but you may just be the person who communicates with the person who owns the home where the group meets.

2. Arrange chairs in cooperation with the leader.

3. Greet people at the door; show them where to put coats, etc.

4. Set the atmosphere of love and acceptance for everyone, introducing guests to others in the group.

5. Have extra Bibles and pencils for those who forgot theirs.

6. Wait until guests have left before cleaning up and re-arranging furniture

7. Follow up on those missing from the group

8. Coordinate group care/meals for those who go to the hospital, or have other family crisis.

9. Plan and coordinate a social for the group early in the life of the group.
