A. Ephesians 6:1-3

1) For children to obey their parents.
2) For children to honor their parents.

B. Proverbs 6:16-19 Unity within the family.
C. Colossians 3:20 Children please God through Obedience.

III. Problems

A. Communication breakdown
B. Priority of friends, T.V. and stereo over family.
C. Bad attitudes toward discipline. Hebrews 12:8
D. Away from home too much.

IV. Plan

A. Desire to be the type of young person that you want to raise one day.
B. Verbally express love and gratitude.
C. Home is our greatest ministry.
D. Be Jesus to your family.
E. Do something different: Flowers to mom, letters, phone call, prepare a meal, wash car, mow lawn, volunteer for errands, etc...
