Finding And Accepting Responsibility

I. Training Objective: Evaluate the areas of life where
God has called you to personal responsibility.
II. You must want it desperately.
A. Know why you do what you do. (motives?)
B. Are you committed to the success of your leader?
C. Are you committed to the success of your group?
D. What other interests may sap your hunger for responsibility?
E. What are the needs of the of our group?
F. What are your responsibilities?
III. Commitment to not quitting. (II Corinthians 8:11)
A. What obstacles can prevent you from serving?
B. How should you handle discouragement?
C. Don't allow people to discourage you. (God has called you)
D. If you're not doing it where you are, you can't do it where
you aren't.
IV. Being willing to have God teach through other men.
A. List possible areas of service in the ministry.
B. You must serve before you can lead.
C. What type of person do you want following you? Be that type
of person.
D. Let someone else get the praise (humility).
