I. Training Objective: Memorize the following eight helpful procedures for planning within the Will of God.

II. Scripture-(God's Will)

A. II Peter 3:9 - For all to be saved.
B. Ephesians 5:18 - Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
C. I Thessalonians - 4:3-Purity of life.
D. Matthew 7:21- Obedience to God.
E. John 6:38,39 - Jesus' purpose was to do the will of God.
F. Hebrews 6:3 - Plan within God's permissive will.

III. Procedure:

A. Pray-as specifically as possible
B. Gather - note all information and options available.
C. Timing - Be patient (Isaiah 40:31)
D. Motives - What explains my heart purpose?
E. Biblical principles - What does the Bible say?
F. Priorities - Am I following them? (Schedule?)
G. Strategize - What is my best plan of action?

IV. Questions to ask:

A. Would Jesus do it?
B. Can I thank God for it?
C. Will it glorify God?
D. Will it cause a brother to stumble?
E. Do you control it, or does it control you?
F. Do you doubt? (Romans 14:23)
